Dear Mom and Dad,
We've been pushing this letter off too long, so i decided to put it on my list of work on the computer together with my files for my different classes. I hope you don't mind being computerized too often. woops, I even have it justified, well i can take that off, so there, no more justification.
It was wonderful talking to you on the phone, and I am sorry I got a bit carried away talking about my father. I do worry about him. we are going over to him for shabbat and i already convinced him that if he feels well he should come with us home, since he wants us to take a cab all the way anyway, and stay here as long as he feels up to it. The reason I managed to convince him of that is that we are finally having our bathrooms done and I asked him to come and take charge of some of the things, see to whatever etc. Of course there is nothing substantial to be done but i guess i managed to convince him that he is needed, otherwise he wouldn't think of coming. The house is a big mess, but the guy in charge promised it will be finished and completed and cleaned before you come. Most of the big mess should be over by tomorrow anyway, because they are almost finished banging, and it will be time to put things in.
The girls wrote their own wish lists in English, and I hope you can understand whatever is there. Jay told you about the camera my father asked for. He would like to pay for it and you should only know that a comparable one costs here around $500! so if you can get one for half the price - he will gain much. Nikon AF is the name of ours, but anything else that is of the same or better level of taking pictures, and has a timing device is going to be just as good. I'm also sending a picture I found in a "Mothercare" magazine of a hamper I would like to have. I think I saw in the US also one that is of the same idea, but he bags are disposable, and you are supposed to use regular huge garbage bags with it. If you can bring us that kind, please also bring a couple of bags, because I am not sure where to get them here, although I am sure I will find a good source in time. The other out of the ordinary thing I have is a request from a colleague of mine. perhaps Ron could get it, and if you can't bring it I think it could be sent under "bookrate": a record Verve Ella Fitzgerald sings Duke Ellington Vol. 2. he has Vol. 1 so please only that if it can be found. I'm passing the keyboard over to my dearly beloved, so bye, and see you soon, and I miss you and so on.
Love XXXOOO Genia
